Insurance companies set strict parameters on how often you can fill a prescription with coverage.
When we run your prescription and receive an alert that a refill is not due, this means that there was recently an insurance claim opened for the prescription. This often happens if you’ve recently filled the prescription at a local pharmacy, or if the Doctor called it into multiple pharmacies. If you are unsure, it’s a good idea to give your insurance company a call for clarity. Unfortunately we are unable to override or bypass a Refill Not Due.
