Insurance companies set strict parameters on how often you can fill a prescription with coverage.
When we run your prescription and receive an alert that a refill is not due, this means that there was recently an insurance claim opened for the prescription. This often happens if the prescription was recently filled, or if the Doctor called it into multiple pharmacies.
If you are unsure, it’s a good idea to give your insurance company a call for clarity. Unfortunately we are unable to override or bypass a Refill Not Due.
